The Rigmarollers

Harmonica virtuoso Ed Hopwood learnt his craft in acclaimed UK blues bands. Guitarist Julian Marshall has travelled across America and Europe to play with blues and trad musicians. Ewan Penkey is rightly lauded and in demand for his mastery of the sousaphone and bass.

Together they blast out an original musical mix, bringing the party everywhere they play.

The Rigmarollers regularly sell out gigs across London and the UK. They have played Sidmouth Jazz & Blues, Fire in the Mountain, The Idler, Bimble Bandada, Purbeck Valley, Ealing Blues, Upton Blues, Leek Blues & Americana, among many festivals.

Tickets are available on the door and are priced at £10 for Adults and £6 for Children.

The Rigmarollers pack out exhilarating shows with their unique take on the blues, having made the leap to festival headliners in the last year.

Adam Beattie and Fiona Bevan

Our Summer Folk Nights begin this Wednesday 12th June down at Finn Studio from 6.30PM with a double headliner from Fiona Bevan and Adam Beattie!

Since meeting onstage in London, they have been singing in close harmony and accompanying each other on guitar, piano and double bass.

Fiona Bevan is a multi-platinum Canadian-British singer-songwriter from Suffolk, with a delicate, passionate voice and a cinematic dream-folk sound, described by Björn Ulvaeus from ABBA as ‘daring and exciting’, and creating ‘startling odysseys that suggest Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush spine-tinglingly joined’ (The Guardian).

Adam Beattie is a Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist writing original contemporary folk songs while also drawing rich influences from other roots genres. Adam uses beautiful, intricate, finger-picked guitar and a distinctive voice steeped in smoke and honey to create ‘uplifting reveries of love’.

Tickets are available on the door and are priced at £10 for Adults and £6 for Children.

A Story Of Two Sheds

Illustrations and Photography by Mike Ilsley & Phil HuTT

OPENING NIGHT 20th OCTOBER 6pm - 9pm

Working from their garden sheds in Colyton, Mike and Phil have produced a collection of illustrations and photographs for the latest exhibition at Finn Studio in Colyton.

Mike Ilsley presents a collection of lino and woodblock prints inspired by nature and the local environment that could be found in a children’s book or as a stand alone piece.

Phil Hutt exhibits his collection of abstract photographic prints that show off his skill of ICM ‘Intentional Camera Movement’ where blur is the objective rather than an unfortunate mistake.
