Mark is a self taught pastel artist who has lived in Axminster, Devon all his life. Living in Devon, but also being on the Dorset and Somerset borders, brings countless opportunities and inspiration for his detailed pastel landscapes inspired by the coastline and picturesque countryside on his doorstep. Mark honed his skills carrying out commission work painting pet portraits and landscapes to get a photo realistic look using pastels and pastel pencils.

Mark started to take his passion and hobby to the next level in 2020. Since becoming become a professional artist, he has won the Gold UK Artists November Award 2021 and more recently reached the finals of the Art Unlimited UK artist competition in 2022.

Amanda Kathrens Mayne Wellstead is a multi media visual artist, designer and maker whose current work involves the use of collage, leather, film and digital surface design.

Inspired by her experience and surroundings Amanda’s work explores themes of energy, truth, honesty, vulnerability and non-judgement, a personal, tangible representation of her creative life in a mindfulness moment.

Amanda chooses the discarded; magazines, sea glass, rusty metal that spews onto the beach from a Victorian tip, leather from sofas and belts, stories written on their surface from years of use.

From the pages of her daughters vogue subscription, thousands of tiny pieces of ripped paper are used in an unimpeded intuitive abstraction to create her collages of unattached mindfulness, a visual representation of her unique artistic drive.

Her practice oscillates between her desire for control and the freedom of the subconscious, the dance and balance between the two is visually exquisite with each piece evolving from a journey of the unexpected.

Hesta is an East Devon artist responding to nature through her artwork which celebrates the turning of each season. 

Hesta's artwork is the result of her background in both art and horticulture.  It is Hesta's love of the natural world that inspires her to create and this is radiated into her work.
